RPGR Antibody

X-linked retinitis pigmentosa GTPase regulator (RPGR) could be a guanine-nucleotide releasing factor. It plays a role in ciliogenesis and probably regulates cilia formation by regulating actin stress filaments and cell contractility. RPGR plays an important role in photoreceptor integrity. It may also play a critical role in spermatogenesis and in intraflagellar transport processes (By similarity) [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q92834].
